August 2025 brought Coin Volcano 2 from 3 Oaks Gaming, the follow-up to the studio's first volcano slot. The studio says the familiar gameplay comes back with richer mechanics, and the most visible change is the board: instead of the original compact grid, play now takes place on larger 3x5 reels.
Entering the bonus
Filling the middle row triggers three respins in the Bonus Game. A Sticky Coin remains on the reels until the bonus is triggered. During the respins, coin Bonus symbols land with various values, which may include fixed Mini, Minor and Major jackpots. A Mystery Jackpot symbol can uncover a jackpot prize, a Mystery symbol may become a Bonus or Jackpot symbol, and a Collect symbol gathers every current value. Filling all reel positions may award the Grand jackpot of x500.
Volcano multipliers
- The Volcano Multiplier Feature can erupt at any moment and drop up to nine multipliers onto the reels.
- Multipliers that land on the same spot combine their values.
- The Ultra Bonus Game can trigger at random, with volcano multipliers guaranteed.
The Boost Bonus Game
The standout addition is the Boost Bonus Game. In it, volcano multipliers are guaranteed and begin at an increased x5. It cannot be reached by playing normally; access is via the Buy Bonus option, which is available only in select regions. The price of that option has not been published, so we do not state one.
What is not published
The studio does not list a return percentage, volatility, bet range or overall top win for this game, and none appears on this site. The Grand x500 is a jackpot multiple, not a cap on what a round can pay.
Why it matters for a player
A wider board and combining multipliers give rounds more ways to build, yet they remain random. Buying a bonus costs more than a normal spin, and the x5 start is a feature setting, not a guarantee of any result. Decide on a budget in advance and check the in-game rules. Specifications are gathered on the Coin Volcano 2 page.
