FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who develops the Coin Volcano slots, and what ties the four games together?

The studio behind all four is 3 Oaks Gaming. Each one is set around erupting volcanoes, and each revolves around a respin bonus where coin values pile up on the reels. The original Coin Volcano came out in August 2023.

Which Coin Volcano games are there, and are they playable online?

There are four: Coin Volcano (August 2023), 3 Coin Volcanoes (November 2024), Coin Volcano 2 (August 2025) and 3 Super Coin Volcanoes (January 2026). All are online slots, and the games page gives a page to each.

How to play Coin Volcano?

This one uses a 3×3 grid. Pick a stake and spin. Three symbols across the middle row start the BONUS GAME with three respins, and a Sticky Coin stays locked in place until that happens. Inside the bonus you gather coin values and jackpot symbols (Mini, Minor, Major), and filling the whole grid can pay the Grand jackpot at x500. A Volcano Multiplier can erupt at random and drop one to nine multipliers on the reels.

How to play Coin Volcano 2?

The sequel moves to a larger 3×5 layout. Filling the middle row gives three respins in the BONUS GAME, with a Sticky Coin waiting on the reels until it fires. Coin symbols carry values, some of which may be fixed Mini, Minor or Major jackpots, and a Collect symbol sweeps up what is showing. The Volcano Multiplier can drop up to nine multipliers, and any that land in one spot add together. Boost Bonus is reached only through a bonus buy, which exists in select regions.

How to play 3 Coin Volcanoes and 3 Super Coin Volcanoes?

Both are 4×3 games with two active lines. Four matching symbols on a line open the respin bonus, and fire effects wake the three volcanoes above the reels. Each awakened volcano adds a booster: Life refills the respin counter, Multi applies multipliers that stack in the same cell, and Grow adds two more rows, which opens the way to the Royal jackpot at x2000. The Super version adds a Super Wheel that spins before the bonus and can wake the Gold Volcano, whose multipliers start at x5.

Is Coin Volcano legit?

3 Oaks Gaming builds the games, but you do not bet with the studio itself; you play at casinos that carry its content. This website is independent and offers no gambling. Before depositing at any casino, make sure its licence is valid in the country where you live.

What is known about the RTP and volatility of the Coin Volcano slots?

3 Oaks Gaming has not published RTP or volatility for any of these four games, so we list them as not published rather than guess. To see the setup a particular casino runs, open the info or rules screen inside the game, because operators can configure some settings.

What is the biggest win in the Coin Volcano series?

No maximum win figure has been published for any of the four slots. What is stated is the jackpot multiples: the Grand pays x500 in every game, and the Royal pays x2000 in 3 Coin Volcanoes and 3 Super Coin Volcanoes. Those are jackpot values, not an overall win cap.

Does the hour of the day change how often Coin Volcano pays?

No. Every spin is settled by a random number generator, so the clock, the weekday and the month play no part. Choose a time when you can keep to your budget and your own time limit.

When a casino is crowded, are my chances worse?

No. Your spin is computed on its own and is not connected to what other people are doing. A busy lobby does nothing to your reels.

If someone else wins a jackpot, does that change my next spin?

No. The game does not remember anybody else’s results and does not even out payouts between players. Another person landing the Grand leaves your next spin unaffected.

After many spins without the bonus, is it about to come?

No, thinking so is the gambler’s fallacy. Each spin stands alone, so a long stretch with no respin trigger does not pull the bonus nearer. RTP describes an average across a huge number of rounds and sets no timetable.

Will a higher bet make a win more likely?

No. The odds of a winning spin are the same at every stake; only the size of the payout moves with it. Select a stake that fits your budget rather than expecting it to tilt the odds.

Are bonus buy and the special bonus rounds worth paying for?

They are options, not advantages. In Coin Volcano 2, the Boost Bonus can only be entered through a bonus buy in select regions, and the Ultra Bonus can instead arrive at random. Buy prices are not published, and paying for entry does not take away the chance of losing.

Does the free demo show what real-money play will be like?

A demo uses play credits, which makes it a risk-free way to see how respins, Sticky Coins, volcano multipliers and jackpot symbols work. It cannot predict later results, since each real-money round is independent.
